Ladbrokes have assembled a competiive market for the 2025 Queensland Derby, with only three runners currently at a single figure quote for this staying feature.

While he hasn't saluted since a maiden triumph at start two, Firm Agreement ($7) has been consistent in seven subsequent outings at Group level.
His last three appearances have resulted in runner-up finishes, which includes a second to Aeliana in the Australian Derby and he placed in the Spring Champion Stakes via his only other Group 1 attempt.
King Of Thunder ($7) has contested two Derbies (Victorian and Australian) and following a second-up win in March, the son of Tivaci was unlucky when runner-up in the Tulloch Stakes.
He has completed a trial since his fifth-place in the Australian Derby, so a Queensland visit appears likely for the O'Shea & Charlton-trained galloper.
Belle Detelle ($9) recorded back-to-back wins before a fifth in the Australian Oaks and the Chris Waller-trained filly has only been out of the money once in six starts.
Dariana was the last filly to win the Queensland Derby (2010).

The Queensland Derby was first run in 1868 and has been taken out by some champions of the turf, including the likes of Kingston Town, Strawberry Road and Rough Habit.
This has been run over 2400m for the entirety of its history, besides 2017 where the race was run over 2200m at Doomben.
