The five-year-old won his only prior Queesland attempt when successful in 2023 Doomben 10,000 and that followed a 1400m victory when taking out the All Aged Stakes.

The daughter of Zoustar brought up her second Group 1 in the Newmarket Handicap and she's been competitive in two subsequent efforts, which includes a last start second in the All Aged Stakes.
Benedetta ($7) recorded a fifth-place finish in the All Aged Stakes and she arrived to that 1400m feature off a runner-up to Schwarz in the William Reid Stakes.

In 2006, the race gained Group 1 status and from 1991 to 2016, this sprint was always over 1200m before the recent increase to 1300m.
