The Cantala Stakes is an open race as always under handicap conditions with a host of chances to win the mile feature.
Mr Brightside (barrier six) is on a good winning run and took out the Seymour Cup last start beating Just Folk (barrier two) who subsequently won the Group Two Crystal Mile.
Superstorm (barrier 14) has Group One form all around him this prep, placing in his last two starts at the highest level, while Cascadian (barrier 15) will be looking for a win after placing in this race for the last two years.
Buffalo River (barrier four) will be hoping some rain arrives and will be a good chance if it does, while Aramayo brings a narrow Epsom Handicap (barrier three) placing down and will be a strong chance in the event.
The race does not end there with The Invitation winner Icebath (barrier 16) also set to contest the event.
A final field of 16 has been assembled for the 2021 Cantala Stakes.
