Last Aussie Women Standing - Value Bet

I'm loving the value on Priscilla Hon here.

Hon, along with Daria Kasatkina, were the last Aussie women standing at the 2025 US Open and I think the wildcard can put together another nice little run in Melbourne.

The 27-year-old was having a career-best season last year before a niggling foot injury forced her to shut down early, but she's back to full fitness and ready for a big result in Melbourne.

This bet is also about fading some out-of-form Aussie women. Kasatkina's struggles have been well-documented and she's not started 2026 in great fashion, so I could easily see an early loss transpiring.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Joint is under big pressure being seeded at a slam for the first time and she's also not had ideal preparation, dealing with a nasty bout of the flu. Joint also has a very tough first round opponent in the rising Valentova.

Hon opens with a qualifier and then would face the winner of an all-American clash between teenager Iva Jovic and Katie Volynets - both very winnable matches. Hon has a very realistic shot at making another third round and that could very well be enough to become the last Aussie women standing once again.
