Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are the overwhelming favourites to win the 2026 Australian Open, live from Melbourne Park between January 18 and February 1.

Sinner and Alcaraz have swept the last eight Grand Slam tournaments, with Novak Djokovic's triumph at the 2023 US Open the last time a player other than the current world's top two reigned supreme at a major.

The Italian is the two-time defending Australian Open champion, while Alcaraz is looking to become the youngest player to have won all four majors, with the first major of the season the only one to have eluded him.

It comes as no surprise that Sinner and Alcaraz are the two leading favourites with online bookmaker Betr, with all other players in double-digit odds.

Novak Djokovic has won a record 10 Australian Open singles titles, but Sinner and Alcaraz have gone to another level and the 38-year-old has struggled to hang with the pair.

Alexander Zverev finished runner-up to Sinner last year at Melbourne Park, with Grand Slam silverware continuing to elude the German.

Daniil Medvedev is a player that could potentially bring a challenge to Sinner and Alcaraz - the Russian is in resurgent form having taken the title in Brisbane, while he's got a great record in Melbourne, making the final and three semi-finals.

Alex de Minaur is, as usual, the best chance for an Aussie to snap the long-standing men's singles drought at the Australian Open, with the World No. 6 priced at $41 to go all the way.

Betr are also offering odds on which player will serve the most aces throughout the tournament, with big servers such as Taylor Fritz, Alexander Bublik, Jakub Mensik and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard leading the way.
