Aryna Sabalenka is the current favourite to regain her Australian Open title as the first Grand Slam of the year gets underway from January 18 and runs through to February 1.

Sabalenka was denied an Australian Open three-peat last year after being upset in the final by Madison Keys, who produced a stunning performance to secure her maiden major title.

It will take a seismic effort from Keys to go back-to-back, but online bookmaker Betr still have the American in single-digit odds ahead of the tournament.

However, Sabalenka is the $3.00 favourite to return to the champions corner at Melbourne Park after blitzing the field in Brisbane to launch her year, taking the title without dropping a single set.

Australian Open WinnerOdds
Aryna Sabalenka$3.00
Iga Swiatek$5.00

Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina round out the top three favourites, with the latter finishing 2025 by capturing the WTA Finals silverware.

Coco Gauff, Mirra Andreeva and Amanda Anisimova are the other leading contenders in single-digit odds.

Two-time champion Naomi Osaka continues to make gradual progress up the rankings and is priced at $15 to go all the way in Melbourne.

Betr are also offering odds for which Aussie women will be the last player standing in the draw.

Maya Joint is set to be seeded at a Grand Slam for the first time, but if the teenager falls early, there's lots of value to be had.

Priscilla Hon is a player to watch out for - she was in career-best form after making the third round of the US Open as a qualifier last year before a foot injury forced her to cut her season short.

Fit again, Hon at $15 to replicate that run and potentially be the last Aussie remaining is worth a look at.
