Bred by the late Queen Elizabeth II and owned by King Charles III, Gilded Water impressed throughout his first Australian prep for trainer Ciaron Maher, with two wins and a second from three appearances.

The progressive four-year-old has only completed seven starts and while he wasn't disgraced, the four-year-old has been given time after failing in a hat-trick bid at Rosehill in January.

Spelled after a second in the Listed Christmas Cup, Alalcance opened her autumn account with a winning hat-trick and the last two of those triumphs were at Group level.
The Waterhouse & Bott-trained galloper was tipped out after failing in the Sydney Cup.
Eliyass won his first three Australian starts before recording a third in the 2024 Turnbull Stakes, but he was disappointing in two May performances and the gelding was spelled after a heavy defeat in the Doomben Cup.
At $11, Eliyass shares the third line of betting with Vauban, who impressed on stable debut for Waterhouse & Bott and he was unlucky following that when third in the Group 1 Tancred Stakes.
