A stakes winner in Ireland before placing third in the Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot 2024, the gelding broke through in his tenth Australian appearance for Chris Waller when successful in the Group 3 Kingston Town Stakes on September 20.
Vauban has mixed his form in five starts for the Waterhouse & Bott yard. He made a winning stable debut in March before an unlucky run in the Tancred Stakes, but was well beaten in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes prior to a spell.
