Via Sistina ($15) is the best horse in Australia at present, with the Yu Long-owned import recording five Group 1 wins from her first seven starts for Chris Waller and her last two triumphs have been the most impressive of those performances.

After breaking the race record via an eight-length romp in the Cox Plate, the daughter of Fastnet Rock rounded out her 2024 spring campaign with a soft win in the Champions Stakes and her only big flop in Australia was on testing ground when second-up in September.
