Galaxy Patch and Voyage Bubble share favouritism at $3.75 with Ladbrokes for the 2025 Hong Kong Mile at Sha Tin, with My Wish ($5.50), Embroidery ($7) and Soul Rush ($8) rounding out a competitive early market.

Galaxy Patch heads the field after a strong win in the Jockey Club Mile on November 23, confirming his arrival as Hong Kong’s next major mile force. Voyage Bubble sits alongside him on the top line of betting as the defending Hong Kong Mile champion and the established benchmark local miler.

My Wish is next in line after a breakout season highlighted by his wins in the Celebration Cup and Sha Tin Trophy, and he was fourth behind Galaxy Patch in the Jockey Club Mile at his most recent start.

Embroidery represents Japan as the leading three-year-old filly, arriving off top-level classic successes in the Oka Sho and Shuka Sho and shaping as an internationally proven threat over the mile.

Hong Kong Mile Winners

Held each December at Sha Tin, the Hong Kong Mile is one of four Group 1 features on Hong Kong International Raceday and the premier 1600m contest of the meeting, forming the mile leg of the global end-of-year championship.

Run under weight-for-age conditions and open to three-year-old's and up, it consistently attracts a mix of elite Hong Kong milers and world-class contenders from Japan and abroad.

Good Ba Ba and Golden Sixty share the race record with three wins each, while Zac Purton leads the jockeys’ tally with four victories and Tony Cruz and John Moore jointly hold the trainers’ record.
