Pride Of Jenni (barrier 1) will make her Queensland debut in the 2025 Doomben Cup and the exciting front-runner has won two of three appearances this campaign.
She atoned from an Australian Cup loss when carrying 61kg to victory at Caulfield last start, while the seven-year-old steps back up to 2000m for Saturday's Group 1 attempt.
Her last Group 1 win came fourth-up over this distance in the autumn of 2024 and she beat Via Sistina in that famous Queen Elizabeth Stakes performance.
Antino (barrier 11) bounced back to winning form last start with a 3.5-length victory in the Hollindale Stakes and he was only second-up in that Gold Coast feature.
The Group 1 winning miler hasn't raced over 2000m, but he was terrific via a strong 1800m on May 10 and the Tony Gollan-trained galloper handles all conditions.
Eliyass (barrier 13) failed in the Hollindale Stakes, which was run on a very testing surface and a vet exam revelead that the Waterhouse & Bott-trained import was coughing post-race.
The six-year-old has a perfect three-from-three second-up record and those victories have all come in the 1900m-2000m range.
Bois D'argent (barrier 8) is aiming for back-to-back Doomben Cup wins, while the Annabel & Rob Archibald stable also prepare Fawkner Park (barrier 9) who was unlucky in third via last year's Doomben Cup, while My Oberon (barrier 2) arrives off a third-place finish in the Hawkesbury Gold Cup.
Chris Waller is aiming for his fourth Doomben Cup win and the champion trainer has accepted with Lindermann (barrier 3), Militarize (barrier 10), Kovalica (barrier 6) and Osipenko (barrier 12).

Doomben Cup Winners
The Doomben Cup was first run in 1933 and has been taken out by some champions of the turf, including the likes of Might And Power, Juggler and Rough Habit, who was a three-time winner of the event.
The race has been run over 2200m for much of its history, but in 2007 was introduced with a new distance of 2020m and 2000m from 2012 onwards.
Huetor (2022 and 2023) and Bois D'argent (2024) have won the last three editions of the Doomben Cup.
