The 2025 French Open has brought together the best players on the circuit, with each star looking to triumph at the only Grand Slam played on a clay court.
In 2024, it was Carlos Alcaraz that managed to secure the silverware and bragging rights, and he is one win away from securing the title once again, but Jannik Sinner is standing in his way.
You can see the latest odds ahead of the final of the competition in 2025.
| French Open Winner | Odds |
|---|---|
| Carlos Alcaraz | $1.86 |
| Jannik Sinner | $1.98 |
Roland Garros rose to applaud Carlos Alcaraz in 2024 as he defeated Alexander Zverev in five sets in a thrilling final in 2024. This has seen the Spaniard installed as the favourite at $1.86 with Picklebet to defend his crown and triumph in 2025.
Jannik Sinner ($1.98) is the only player left standing in his way, with the pair set to meet in an enthralling final on Sunday.
The semi-finals saw both players enjoy wins that were ultimately comfortable on the scoreboard. Alcaraz came from a set down to win by walkover against Lorenzo Musetti (4-6 7-6 6-0 2-0). The scoreboard shows that Sinner beat Novak Djokovic in three sets, but his 6-4 7-5 7-6 win over the latter was far from simple.
The two semi-finals have left arguably the two best players on the men's side to battle it out for the trophy. The pair have played some scintillating tennis across the two weeks, but it all comes down to one best of five meeting.
Last year, the French Open in 2024 saw Alcaraz lift the trophy as Sinner was knocked out by the eventual champion in the semi-finals. The following Grand Slam saw Alcaraz then triumph at Wimbledon as Djokovic was hammered in straight-sets in the final while Sinner was knocked out someway before the showpiece final.
The interesting part about this Slam is that Sinner has returned just in time following a ban from the World Anti-Doping Agency following two positive drug tests in 2024. Sinner has not looked rusty in the slightest, with the star working his way to the final in impressive fashion.
The likes of Alexander Zverev, Lorenzo Musetti, Alexander Bublik and others all came into the tournament with a chance of winning, but they have ultimately been shown the door early on, with Alcaraz and Sinner just too good.
Who do you think will win the French Open in 2025? Can Alcaraz defend his crown, or will Sinner lift the trophy at Roland Garros?
