So Polite has finished in the top three in five of her six starts, building a solid base of consistent efforts.

Her only miss came when resuming from a spell on a wet track at Balaklava in September, finishing fifth in a 1200m maiden.

She rebounded quickly, producing a narrow defeat over 1050m at the same course two weeks later on firmer going.

Freshened again after that run, she returned to the Parks track here recently and was beaten only narrowly when jumping from an inside draw with a light weight.

Teagan Voorham reunites with the mare and, aided by another favourable barrier and expected Good 4 surface, So Polite looks primed to breakthrough.

Morphettville Roughie - Race 3 No. 2 Santasia

Santasia compiled a string of honest efforts last prep, placing second in four of her final five runs.

One of those included a tight finish at Albury on heavy ground at 1000m, confirming her versatility on differing surfaces.

She was spelled after that run, having raced boldly at Parkes in a Class 2 just nine days earlier.

Now under the care of Travis Doudle, she arrives off a pleasing 600m trial here that suggested she has settled well into the new stable.

Caitlin Tootell may employ front-running tactics again, and a bold showing at value would not surprise.

Morphettville Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 1 Been Our Angel

Been Our Angel has held his form well this prep, racing consistently in stronger Benchmark 0-64 events on the Parks circuit.

His latest pair of runs included a narrow defeat over 1000m and a sound fourth under similar conditions two weeks later.

Both of those placed him wide in transit, yet he still finished off reliably on fair ground.

Dropping in grade here brings welcome relief at this stage of the campaign, and the step back to Benchmark 58 level should suit.

Todd Pannell takes the ride and with a handy racing style, he looks capable of overcoming a wide alley to break through this season.

Morphettville Value Bet - Race 5 No. 1 Global Turn

Global Turn resumed with an encouraging fifth over 1250m on the Parks track in September, shaping well for a mare who traditionally improves with racing.

She capitalised next start when scoring over 1200m here in a similar race, producing a neat turn of foot late.

Another good track followed, but she struggled when raised to Benchmark 68 company and found the class rise too sharp.

Conditions were again against her in the Viddora Series Final when contesting a Soft 5, leaving her better placed back at this level.

Returning to Benchmark 0-62 grade and reunited with Jade Doyle, she appeals as a genuine value chance among her own sex.
