Turkiye vs Paraguay World Cup Tips, Prediction & Live Stream
It's a must-win game for both teams as Turkiye and Paraguay square off in World Cup Group D action at Levi's Stadium on Friday night.
Turkiye were stunned 2-0 by the Socceroos in their opening game - however, there were encouraging signs if they could just improve their efficiency in front of goal. Indeed, Vincenzo Montella's side registered a whopping 30 shots, which is the most any team has put together at a World Cup since 1974 without scoring. With talents like Arda Guler and Kenan Yildiz, the Turks should create plenty of chances again here and I'd back them to take their opportunities this time around.
Meanwhile, Paraguay were hugely disappointing in their 4-1 drubbing at the hands of co-hosts USA, barely making an impact aside from some nice attacking runs from Strasbourg playmaker Julio Enciso, who remains the most likely threat for the South American nation.
However, Paraguay have scored in 15 of their last 17 games, so that makes BTTS - Yes an attractive option for the best bet here. Both teams need to go on the attack in order to pick up an essential three points, so an open game should play out at Levi's.
Overall, Turkiye appear the far better side and if they're not too rattled from the Socceroos, they should have enough firepower to bounce back here. Yildiz had a big impact off the bench last week and could be in line for a starting spot here - he looks a decent bet for anytime goalscorer.

Turkiye Form Analysis
Turkiye were perhaps guilty of underestimating Australia and thinking their talent alone would be enough to get the job done.
A whopping 30 shots underlines just how dangerous Turkiye are with the ball, but some defensive lapses saw the Socceroos score two superb goals and they just couldn't find an answer past Australia's defensive line.
It was also Turkiye's ninth defeat in their last 13 games in major tournaments, so they will be determined for a win here to ease any pressure and thoughts that they can't handle the big stage.
Turkiye Team News
Turkiye will need more from either Kerem Akturkoglu or Deniz Gul, with the pair jostling for the starting striker role.
Real Madrid's Arda Guler will want to put a disappointing night against the Socceroos behind him and remind everyone why he's lauded as one of the best young talents in football, along with Juventus' Kenan Yildiz, who was impactful off the bench after coming back from a calf injury.

Paraguay Form Analysis
When analysing all of the 48 teams' opening performances at this World Cup, you've got to say Paraguay's ranks as one of the worst.
Gustavo Alfaro's side conceded three goals in the opening half and only managed one shot on target for the entire match - which was Mauricio's goal after some good lead-up work from Enciso.
Having made the knockout stage in four of their last five World Cups, safe to say Paraguay need immense improvement if they are to feature in the R32 and beyond at this tournament.
Paraguay Team News
Gustavo Caballero and Ramon Sosa both remain in doubt due to injury.
Enciso, Miguel Almiron and Diego Gomez will support lone striker Tonny Sanabria, who had four goals in qualifying and will need to get into the game more if Paraguay are going to improve in the final third.

Both teams are tipped to score, with Turkiye coming away with the win. Yildiz looks a good chance to find the back of the net.
