There is a wide draw to overcome, but a strong predicted tempo up front could see No Mans Land ridden cold and given the chance to have the final shot at them.

The Jake Stevens-trained galloper was unlucky when finding traffic at start two on June 6, a performance that was better than it reads.

The son of Territories was unable to build momentum when required, and that followed a debut victory at Gawler on Heavy ground.

While he meets a number of more seasoned rivals in this 0-64 contest, No Mans Land is the only runner in the field with genuine upside.

The extra 100m and switch to the bigger Morphettville circuit are both positives, and this shapes as an easier assignment than the one he faced last start.

He could not have done much more on South Australian debut, producing a brave effort on May 30 after covering ground on the speed.

Orthies still had the audacity to kick despite the tough run before being picked up late by the useful Golden Horizon.

That rival raced in Melbourne last Saturday, while those around Orthies all came from off the speed.

Among the beaten brigade in third was Silver Chaos, who added further strength to the form when absolutely bolting in with her next outing.

The drop in distance does not look a negative based on his exposed form, and with any improvement from the return performance, Orthies should be going close under Emily Finnegan.

It is a little surprising that a decent each-way quote is available for Miso, who drops sharply in grade after opening his campaign in two Benchmark 78 contests.

There was merit to both performances for the Will Clarken stable.

When resuming on May 16, he recorded the fastest final 200m of the Morphettville Parks meeting.

A fortnight later, he was the only runner making any impression in second behind the talented Sir Now, and Miso ran the fastest last 800m, 600m and 400m of that May 30 card.

That form received a boost when Sir Now scored impressively in higher grade company at Murray Bridge last Saturday, while the rise to 1200m and a recent tick-over trial further strengthen Miso's claims third-up.
