Belmont Next Best Bet - Race 2 No. 8 God's Grin
We were with God's Grin first-up at a decent each-way price, and the four-year-old arguably should have taken out that March 21 affair when held up at key stages before finding the line nicely late for third.
Again, she had no luck second-up when stepping to 1400m for a Belmont Class 3 on June 10, with the daughter of Playing God finding traffic when galloping room was required.
She's hardly put a hoof wrong in 10 career starts, being competitive in a sixth-of-12 finish on debut at Ascot in March last year before recording seven subsequent top-three finishes.
That includes a winning double when deep into her second campaign.
The 1.5kg claim from Holly Nottle sees her in just above the minimum and, on an each-way basis, God's Grin can give this a real shake.
Lawn Pride Australia Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Belmont Best Bet - Race 6 No. 14 Brazen Butcher
Ability was evident early, with Brazen Butcher a dominant winner at start two before being thrown in the deep end for the Group 2 Karrakatta Plate.
He covered ground at a big price in that feature before being spelled after the tough run.
Following a disappointing spring campaign, the three-year-old was given more time, with bone chips removed from a knee before a lengthy spell.
He could be ready to put it all together now after a terrific first-up win at Belmont on June 3.
That performance backed up two encouraging trials, the latest a slick victory on May 25 in what was the fastest 1000m heat of the morning, and while Spicy Thing also arrives off a strong fresh win, there may be more upside with the Jason Brown-trained galloper.

Belmont Feature Bet - Race 7 No. 11 Prince Of Dala
The main query is whether Prince Of Dala can hold his form deep into a first campaign, especially in what looks a strong edition of the Belmont Guineas.
However, do not be surprised if he proves the best horse from this race in another six to 12 months' time.
Recent performances suggest the Simon Miller-trained galloper is looking for a mile.
He opened his career with a brave debut victory at Pinjarra when covering ground before bolting in with a Class 1, and after a luckless third run at Belmont, he bounced back with a seven-furlong triumph on June 10.
A big, strong type who appears to appreciate galloping room, the draw looks ideal and Brad Parnham has options aboard a tactically versatile galloper.

Belmont Value Bet - Race 8 No. 8 Olympic Park
Outside of the Listed Belmont Guineas, arguably the most interesting watch on the entire program will be the return of Olympic Park.
The obvious query is that he resumes off a very lengthy spell, which explains the each-way quotes available.
However, if anywhere near right, the son of Ocean Park appears to have this field covered on class.
He came to hand early with a stylish debut win over this distance before handling the rise to Saturday company.
The first campaign culminated with two stakes placings, the latest over a mile in the Group 2 WA Guineas of 2024, while a sound June 2 trial and the Michael Grantham stable's recent 26% strike-rate add further confidence to his chances.
