Before that, their form was stronger, with wins over Hawthorn, Collingwood and Melbourne. They are still sitting inside the top eight and have enough midfield power through Brownlow favourite Marcus Bontempelli, Ed Richards, Bailey Dale and Ryley Sanders to rebound quickly.

The key is the forward line. Aaron Naughton has a dominant recent record against St Kilda, and will need to be on fire again with the Bulldogs conceding an average of 93 points over their last 4 matches.
