Adelaide Crows Betting Tips, Odds & Latest News

The Adelaide Crows are the bigger and older of two AFL teams based in the state of South Australia.

Formed in 1990 to be the 'state team' to represent South Australia as part of the newly named Australian Football League, the Adelaide Crows have won two premierships in their history and have made 15 finals series overall.

Adelaide Crows History

The Adelaide Crows are one of two South Australian based clubs competing in the AFL.

Formed in 1990 and starting in the newly named Australian Football League in 1991, they were introduced as a way representing the state of South Australia as opposed to older and existing South Australian Football Clubs in the Port Adelaide Magpies and Norwood Redlegs taking their place.

Finishing in an eventual 9th placing in 1991 with 10 wins in their first season, the Adelaide Crows opened up their account in fine style by defeating that seasons premiers in Hawthorn by 86 points in their first ever game.

Playing their home matches at Football Park up until the end of 2013 before heading to the Adelaide Oval, their training base and offices are still based at the old West Lakes location.

With two premierships and 15 finals series appearances since that 1991 inauguration, the Adelaide Crows have mostly been very competitive over the journey and consistently have a strong membership base.
