Nature Strip (barrier 11) is favourite to record a hat-trick of TJ Smith wins on Saturday, where the seven-year-old looking to join Chautauqua as a three-time winner of this feature Randwick sprint.
Eduardo (barrier 3) and Masked Crusader (barrier 1) placed behind the champion in the 2021 TJ Smith Stakes, with the former arriving off a Challenge Stakes victory over Nature Strip on March 5.
Shelby Sixtysix (barrier 10) almost upset Eduardo in that Challange Stakes and proved it was no fluke in two subsequent outings, winning the Group One Galaxy in the latest of those victories.
