Attica has won two of three starts in his first preparation and following his October 4 triumph in the Dulcify Stakes, firmed into favouritism for the 2025 Spring Champion Stakes, with $3.50 his quote via Betr.

The Joe Pride-trained galloper has completed a tick-over trial since his last victory and now looks to stretch out to 2000m for the first time.
Shangri La Boy ($4) is also two from three in his debut campaign, recording back-to-back victories in October, the latest coming in the Group 3 Gloaming Stakes over 1800m.
Federalist ($6) is superbly bred, being by I Am Invincible and the first foal out of the outstanding mare Arcadia Queen. He looks ready for the step up to 2000m in the Spring Champion Stakes.
Within The Law ($6) brings plenty of experience for an early three-year-old, having already made 12 starts. The Group 2 winner is backing up from the King Charles III Stakes should she take her place in the field.
The 2025 Spring Champion Stakes will be contested at Randwick on Saturday, October 25.

Spring Champion Stakes Winners
First run in 1971, the Spring Champion Stakes has long been one of the premier three-year-old features of the Sydney spring.
The race gained Group 1 status in 1979 and, as a 2000m event staged ahead of the Victoria Derby and VRC Oaks, it serves as a key lead-up to those Melbourne staying features.
