Wimbledon 2025 saw Iga Swiatek dominate, clinching the title with a commanding 6-0 6-0 win over Amanda Anisimova, following surprise upsets of favourites like Aryna Sabalenka. Looking ahead to 2026, Swiatek and Sabalenka top the odds, but the women’s field remains highly competitive, with players like Rybakina, Gauff, and Andreeva also prominent contenders. Unpredictability reigns, making early picks challenging. Bettors are advised to stay updated as form and injuries could quickly shift the odds approaching the tournament.

Wimbledon in 2025 was Aryna Sabalenka's to lose, and that is exactly what she did as she was stunned in a 4-6 6-4 4-6 loss to Amanda Anisimova in the semi-finals. Sabalenka had arrived for the clash as the big favourite, but she was unable to make the final in stunning style.

Iga Swiatek took full advantage of this as she romped to a stunning 6-0 6-0 win over Anisimova in the showpiece event to cap off the most one-sided final in recent memory and secure the trophy.

With Wimbledon in 2026 edging closer, Swiatek is seen as one of the players to back, but Sabalenka is right beside her. The two have often been incredibly tough to separate, and it has only been a shock result that has seen one outdo the other. Invariably, one has fallen before the final, with the other then able to secure the trophy.

Behind the pair, you can back any of Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff, Elina Svitolina and Mirra Andreeva. However, only Rybakina is currently available below $10.00 at the time of writing.

With the women's side of the game so competitive, it makes for an incredibly unpredictable tournament. This means backing a player longer than $10.00 is not the fairly long shot it might seem in comparison to the top-two.

However, if Sabalenka or Swiatek are on form, they are too good for the rest of the field. Like in the semi-finals in 2025, a player needs to hope that one of the top-two has a bad day, which is exactly what Sabalenka had.

Who do you think will win Wimbledon in 2026? Can Swiatek defend her crown, or will another player secure the biggest Slam in tennis?
