The 2025 Wimbledon men's tournament saw Jannik Sinner claim his first grass-court crown after beating Carlos Alcaraz in a memorable final. With Alcaraz sidelined by injury for 2026, Sinner emerges as the clear favorite according to bookmakers, while other notable names like Zverev and Djokovic trail behind in the betting. The key narrative: Sinner is now the player to beat, but the competition remains fierce in tennis’s top Grand Slam. Punters should note Sinner's shortened odds and the wide open field that remains.

Wimbledon in 2025 saw one of the most exciting and unpredictable tournaments in recent memory, with a range of top seeds failing to come through on their rankings at the competition.

Only the top three seeds were really able to excel, with it left to the top two to fight for the trophy. Many believed this would be the case once again in 2026, but with Carlos Alcaraz ruled out through injury, can anyone stop Jannik Sinner from claiming another trophy?

You can see the latest Wimbledon men's winner odds in the table below.

2025's iteration of Wimbledon championed everything great about the competition, with the Grand Slam of the season not disappointing.

In the final, it was Jannik Sinner that outlasted all others as he secured a stunning 4-6 6-4 6-4 6-4 victory over Carlos Alcaraz. This victory was Sinner's first at Wimbledon as he ended a run of two consecutive triumphs at the competition for Alcaraz.

This year, Wimbledon was tipped to be another battle between Sinner and Alcaraz, but Alcaraz has had to withdraw from the competition due to injury, leaving Sinner's odds of winning to shorten further.

Alexander Zvarev is next in line, but he is hardly a stable choice in the betting. Zverev is yet to win a single Slam as he has continually been outdone by his competitors.

Novak Djokovic will interest many bettors, especially if he is able to find his best form. The question for Djokovic will revolve around how long he feels he has left at the top of the game. While clearly still capable of beating most opponents, Djokovic will know that if his levels drop at all, then he will not beat Sinner.

While Djokovic and the rest of the field provide a good potential return if they are to win, the worry for betting outside of Sinner will be that Alcaraz is the only player that has been able to consistently challenge the Italian.

Of course, Wimbledon is not a tennis tournament that any player can just turn up to and win. Every single opponent will go all out to beat Sinner, making it ever harder for the Italian to defend his crown.

Will Sinner make it consecutive Wimbledon crowns, or will one of his competitors hand him a defeat in the only grass court Slam?
