Fresh is best for this runner, who saluted off a 15-month absence in his maiden success.

He was also first-up when completing a double at Mornington.

The November 24 jump-out was stronger than his latest showing on December 8, which was still a pass mark, and this looks very winnable if he can find anything near his best.

While she didn’t beat much on debut over this distance in April, it was still a tough performance from Youwroteuponit.

She was spelled immediately after that autumn success.

That winner completely dictated affairs in front, while the four-year-old ran the race-fastest closing sectionals and comfortably beat home the third-placed Next Stop Iowa, who has shown potential.

There looks a long tail to this field and from barrier four she can have the speedy Frosted In Time within her sights throughout, with that rival her main threat.
