Warrnambool Next Best Bet - Race 2 No. 3 Sing For Peace
The New Zealand-bred gelding gained plenty of experience over hurdles last prep, registering four consecutive top three finishes.
All four of those efforts came on wet tracks and he ended that prep with an eight-length second in a 3250m maiden contest at Ballarat last August.
The son of Tavistock had a couple of outings on the flat prior to returning to obstacles at the end of April and he broke through for his first win when successful that day.
Sing For Peace came home nearly three-and-a-half-lengths clear of his nine rivals when racing over 3250m that day and he went on to finish runner-up at Sandown subsequently.
That Sandown effort saw the pick beaten two lengths into second when contesting a 3400m Benchmark 120 handicap hurdle.
Will Gordon takes over in the saddle here and having been freshened since that Sandown effor, he looks up to recording his second win over hurdles.

Warrnambool Best Bet - Race 4 No. 2 Noonday Gun
The son of Dubawi recorded his first win over obstacles when successful in a 3250m maiden hurdle at Ballarat in August last year.
While the gelding failed to shine on the flat in two subsequent starts this prep, he has returned to jumping with two wins in 2025.
The first of those victories saw him take out a 3200m event held on soft going at Pakenham in April.
Noonday Gun went on to complete a double when saluting by two lengths stepped up to 3400m for a Benchmark 120 hurdle at Sandown on June 1.
The eight-year-old was making his first start for Shane Jackson at Sandown and he arrives here on the back of a second in a hurdle trial at Warrnambool last month.
Tom Ryan, on board last time out retains the ride and racing on heavy going for just the second time, Noonday Gun looks capable of completing a hat-trick.

Warrnambool Feature Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Leaderboard
The US-bred gelding is a dual winner at this venue and he completed an April double when successful by four lengths in a 4000m steeplechase at Pakenham.
Leaderboard faced just three rivals that day and he was a faller when bidding to complete a hat-trick when dropped to this distance on April 29.
While the gelding failed to shine switched to the flat at Mornington in May, he returned to form in a 3900m event when racing back over fences at Sandown at the start of last month.
He lost out by less than a length to steeplechasing superstar Stern Idol, who is again in opposition here that day.
Mark Walker’s representative performed well in that event and should have no issue with the more testing conditions expected her having won on heavy ground in the past.
The son of Street Cry gets on well with jockey Will Gordon and Leaderboard is taken to turn the tables on Stertn Idol.
CMV Truck and Bus Warrnambool Highweight Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Warrnambool Value Bet - Race 7 No. 5 Zedwilldo
The six-year-old ended his last prep on a high in winning by a narrow margin via a 2460m maiden at Mornington in early December.
The gelding raced on a sound surface that day and he has been racing over shorter distances this prep, including when resuming over 1421m at Werribee in May.
Unsurprisingly, Zedwilldo jumped at triple-figure odds prior to trailing in tenth-of-eleven that day, but he showed improved form when upped to 1628m at Moe next time.
He was beaten jut over one-and-a-half-lengths in finishing third in a Benchmark 0-58 handicap held on soft going.
The son of Zed jumped from a wide barrier that day and was again allocated a wide alley when placing third stepped up to 2100m at Echuca last time.
While he finished well-held on his only previous start on heavy going, the extra distance is a positive here and Zedwilldo looks value in this field.
