That followed with a sixth-of-12 finish at start two over this track and trip on March 18.
There were clear excuses on that occasion when back and wide in an on-speed dominated race.
The form has stood up with two subsequent winners produced from that event, while the winner also placed in stronger company last Wednesday.

Happy Valley Value Bet - Race 5 No. 8 Little Monster
The last time Little Monster was able to be produced from cover resulted in a runner-up finish at Sha Tin on December 27.
He was no match there for the slick Aurio, but that form has stood up in stronger company.
That galloper also heads the betting for the last on this evening’s program, and a total of five winners have come from that December 27 event.
Nothing has gone right in three subsequent starts, covering ground in his first two 2026 appearances before a freshen-up.
There was merit to his latest performance when sticking on after a tough run to finish fifth-of-14 on April 6, and while this is his first look at Happy Valley, there appears less depth here than what he has been facing.

It has been a consistent season for Aurio, with a pair of wins, two seconds and two fourth-place finishes from six appearances in the 2025/26 period.
A return to Happy Valley saw the son of Capitalist bounce back to the winner’s stall over this track, trip and grade last start on March 18, where it was impressive to see his tenacity in taking a tight gap.
He recorded a comfortable 1.5-length victory on that occasion.
There is a sharp rise in the weights from that performance, an understandable penalty given he remains at Class 3 level.
While it was recorded in weaker grade, it is still worth noting that he carried a similar impost when saluting at Sha Tin on December 27, opening up a three-length margin in a fast-run 1200m.
