A return to Happy Valley saw the son of Capitalist bounce back to the winner’s stall over this track, trip and grade last start on March 18, where it was impressive to see his tenacity in taking a tight gap.

He recorded a comfortable 1.5-length victory on that occasion.

There is a sharp rise in the weights from that performance, an understandable penalty given he remains at Class 3 level.

While it was recorded in weaker grade, it is still worth noting that he carried a similar impost when saluting at Sha Tin on December 27, opening up a three-length margin in a fast-run 1200m.
