A number of runners bring strong recent form and encouraging sectionals into the meeting, while a few promising three-year-olds look capable of measuring up in stronger company later this year.

Quayclean Handicap Tips (Race 3)
Belmont Best Bet - Race 3 No. 1 Prince Of Dala
Stephen Miller can often find a progressive middle-distance or staying type, and he appears to have another in Prince Of Dala, a three-year-old aiming to open his career with a winning hat-trick on Wednesday.
The youngster has been really impressive in both autumn appearances, which included a debut triumph at Pinjarra on April 27 when recording a soft victory despite covering ground.
The extra 100m suited at start two when Prince Of Dala worked across to find the lead before producing an even more dominant victory from the front.
In the process, he opened up a decent margin on Dark Ambition, a galloper who opened his campaign with victory in a solid Class 1 before contesting two Listed races.
Holding form deeper into a first campaign is never straightforward, although he looks capable of measuring up in better company down the track.
Mc Polytrack Handicap Tips (Race 4)
Belmont Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 6 I’m Odette
There was plenty to like about the first preparation from I’m Odette, a filly who got back and found trouble on debut at Ascot on December 17.
Despite having no favours when racing wide throughout at Bunbury second-up, the three-year-old proved too tough in that January 7 maiden.
That race has since produced four subsequent winners, adding plenty of merit to the performance.
The daughter of Maschino was then spelled and looked a little workmanlike in a May 18 trial at Lark Hill, although the same could have been said before her debut campaign.
After drawing wide in both career starts, William Pike now gets barrier one at his disposal in what looks a very winnable race.
Drummond Golf Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Belmont Value Bet - Race 6 No. 14 Shimonoseki
Despite being no match for Prince Of Dala on May 13, the Western Australian debut from Shimonoseki was certainly a pass mark.
The daughter of Extreme Choice never really gained clear running there, yet still made inroads in restricted room for a fourth-of-15 finish.
Shimonoseki recorded the second-fastest final 400m and 200m of that race in the process.
The mare was unable to progress following a debut victory at Geelong just over 12 months ago, although she remains very lightly raced.
She had only the one lead-up trial before that latest resumption, so there should be improvement to come second-up, while the extra 250m also looks suitable.
