Randwick-Kensington Favourite - Race 1 No. 3 Cantiamo
She was a well supported fav on debut in the Inglis Nursery, where Cantiamo faded after leading when finishing fifth-of-fourteen in a race taken out by Within The Law (subsequent Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed).
The three-year-old has been given time since that December 14 appearance, with three public trials completed and two of those heats were last month and J-Mac sticks from a sharp July 23 win at Gosford.
After being ridden with intent early, Cantiamo has been letting down off colder tactics since the debut, while she's the third foal from Valencay and Valiancy (wet tracker) is the only winner that she's produced.

Randwick-Kensington Best Bet - Race 3 No. 1 Tazima
It was a solid Australian debut at Randwick-Kensington, where Tazima was left flatfooted at a key stage of a 1400m BM72 and he followed that up with a runner-up finish over 1600m at Warwick Farm.
Although he went down as fav, the Chris Waller-trained import never shirked the task in that latest attempt and getting to 1800m third-up looks ideal for the gelding (his sole win in Europe was recorded over 2000m).
The Warwick Farm form has already been franked, with The Years saluting again last Wednesday and despite going up in the weights due to a class drop here, Tazima gets handy relief after the 3kg claim.

Randwick-Kensington Roughie - Race 7 No. 3 Asterix
1800m is a good starting point for the 2022 New Zealand Derby winner, who has won two of three attempts on heavy and the Kiwi wet tracks are generally much more testing than heavy ground in Australia.
While he was disappointing in the Group 1 Tancred Stakes before being tipped out, there was merit to his first three performances under Chris Waller and his July lead-up work ahead of this return has been sound.
On stable debut over the Randwick mile, Asterix should've finished closer at big price and he followed that up with a sixth-of-thirteen in the Group 3 Parramatta Cup, where he was in the inferior going.

Randwick-Kensington Value Bet - Race 8 No. 3 La Roja
Heavy ground is an unknown, however, soft tracks haven't worried La Roja, who ran the fastest last 800m/600m/400m and 200m of a Canterbury BM72 when recording a runner-up finish on return.
There was a lot to like about that fresh run, where she made ground from back in the field on a meeting that heavily favoured the on-speed brigade and the four-year-old there off a second in a strong Hawkesbury trial.
The Peter Snowden-trained galloper has been competitive either side of a maiden victory in January and her second prep culminated with a fourth in the Listed Canberra Guineas (form around first and third reads well).
