Eagle Farm Value Bet - Race 2 No. 4 Zouchase
The son of Zousain has delivered good efforts in placing second in both completions this prep.
The first of those saw the gelding lose out by a narrow margin when racing over 800m on a sound surface at Kilcoy first-up.
The form of that contest is working out well, with the winner, fourth and fifth all registering wins in the interim.
Zouchase lost his rider when failing to finish stepped up to 1100m for a soft ground maiden at Ipswich a fortnight later.
The four-year-old put that mishap behind him when going on to be beaten just under five lengths on a Soft 7 surface over 1015m at Gold Coast month.
Natalie McCall’s representative covered throughout the race at Gold Coast and he has a wide draw to contend with in this contest.

Eagle Farm Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 1 Boondocks
There’s plenty to like about the five-year-old, who has been performing well in the main recently.
The gelding has registered three top three finishes from his last four starts, including a win when racing at the Sunshine Coast two starts back.
David Vandyke’s representative triumphed by nearly a length over 1400m on good going when contesting a Class 3 handicap in that attempt
Boondocks had finished sixth over 1600m here prior to that, with that distance appearing to stretch his stamina.
Ryan Maloney, on board last time out, boasts a near 32% strike-rate (147/465) for this stable and he retains the ride on Wednesday.
He arrives here in good form and with barrier eight not expected to provide any problems, Boondocks is capable of recording the fifth win of his career.

Eagle Farm Best Bet - Race 5 No. 5 Chief In Charge
The four-year-old has been in good form in the main this prep, with his sole disappointing effort coming when down the field in an open handicap at Doomben last month.
Chief In Charge headed into that contest on the back of a victory via a 1350m maiden in June.
The gelding put his below par first effort against previous winners behind him when placing second in a Class 1 over 1350m back at Doomben last week.
Racing on a Good 4 surface, the gelding raced from mid-division prior to staying on nicely to be beaten two-and-a-half-lengths in a Class 1 handicap.
He travelled well on that occasion and Chief In Charge boasts a good barrier, with the extra distance here also expected to suit.
The son of Pierata has placed on all surfaces, while he arrives here hard-fit.
XXXX Gold Class 1 Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Eagle Farm Roughie - Race 7 No. 8 The Sour
The four-year-old has shown a liking for a wet track in the past, having placed second on soft going first up last prep.
The daughter of Heroic Valour lost out by a narrow margin when contesting a 1000m maiden at Gold Coast that day and she broke through for her first win next time.
That maiden success saw her triumph narrowly in a maiden event held on good going at the Sunshine Coast in December.
The Sour ended her last prep by finishing last-of-nine over 1100m at Ipswich, which marked her first start against previous winners.
Neil Hocking’s representative returned to Sunshine Coast when racing first-up this prep, finishing fourth in a 1000m Class 1 handicap held on good going.
The mare is expected to have improved for that effort and with Corey Sutherland taking a valuable three-kilogram’s off her back, she may prove up to surprising here.
