Race 7 No. 1 De Joker
A dominant maiden victory at this venue on his penultimate start makes De Joker the horse to beat in the final event.
Racing over 1200m, the gelding powered clear in the straight to score by more than six-and-a-half lengths on a rain-affected surface.
The selection backed that performance up with a solid third at Dubbo, finishing less than a length from the winner after dropping back to 1100m on a Soft 5 track.
A change of tactics saw the gelding ridden with more restraint last time, and he produced the best finishing effort of those settling off the speed.
The rise back to 1200m is expected to suit and, with further improvement likely on just his fifth career start, he is selected to record another victory at Bathurst.

Race 6 No. 7 Noctua
Earlier form this preparation suggests Noctua is capable of bouncing back after an inconclusive effort at Canberra.
The mare followed a victory at Parkes with a runner-up finish at Sapphire Coast when beaten just under three-and-a-half lengths in Class 3 company over 1005m.
It's possible she failed to handle the synthetic surface in the TAB Federal at Canberra Acton last start, with the daughter of Lope de Vega freshened since that performance.
The five-year-old has placed over this trip previously and has winning form on both Good and Soft tracks, making any late downgrade no concern.
Natalie Jarvis boasts a 50% strike-rate (2/4) at Bathurst this season, and her representative rates value to record her fourth career success.

Race 3 No. 7 Denise's Gal
The experienced Denise's Gal delivered a good effort in suffering a one-length defeat at Moruya earlier this month.
The filly came home fourth over 1210m that day and she has attracted the attention of punters.
Deanne Panya's mount opened at $1.90 with Ladbrokes, however market support now has her as a $1.75 favourite.
The filly is set to race on Good ground for just the second time this preparation while an inside barrier is in her favour having been given a positive ride last time.

Trainer Brad Widdup boasts a 50% strike-rate (3/6) with his runners here this season and Last Tour is his sole runner on the card in the opener.
The three-year-old arrives here on the back of a fourth in a 1300m maiden at Goulburn and he steps up in distance here.
