Race 1 No. 5 Let's Talk

Although he was quite raw, Let's Talk looked a galloper with some promise via three outings over his first campaign and he's open to further improvement this time in.

The four-year-old landed good bets on debut last September and he followed that up with back-to-back thirds at Ascot (was respected in the market both times).

With two solid 1000m trials completed at Belmont ahead of Wednesday's resumption, Let's Talk should be forward enough to produce fresh in what isn't a strong affair.

At 59.83, he won the fastest 1000m heat of the Belmont set on March 17 and while a wider alley may have been preferable, he has enough tactical speed to use gate one.

Value Bet:

Race 5 No. 1 Banks Avenue

Without no first-up wins to his name, this son of Awesome Rock went about as well he can fresh on February 12, where he was beaten under three lengths at Ascot.

Banks Avenue dropped in distance second-up when contesting a 1000m Class 3 and he was fair via a fourth-of-nine finish (runner-up - Tawkin' Jibberish bolted in last week).

A switch to Belmont is in his favour third-up, as two of his three wins have come at this circuit and he's only been out of the money once in four tries over this track/trip.

A fourth-up winner over the Belmont 1200m last prep, Banks Avenue is also a proven weight carrier, having lumped 60.5kg for his second career victory (has 60kg here).

Race 4 No. 5 Classic Royale

While he hasn't produced in two performances following a decent debut, Classic Royale has excuses last start when spotting them a big start and he still ran the second-fastest last 200m of that March 19 event.

From a kinder draw in what looks a weak maiden, there's been an early push for Classic Royale at big odds witth EliteBet ($17.00-$7.50).

Luke Fernie has prepared 12 Belmont winners this season at an excellent strike-rate of 25.93% and overall, he has 12 winners and 11 placegetters from his last 50 starters.
