Another three-year-old by Playing God for trainer Neville Parnham is Pray Again, a colt that did catch the eye when hitting the line strongly late on return at Northam over the 1300m.

Getting home behind Belle's Fantasy who has placed either side of that outing, they were clearing out from the rest of the field, with nearly a three-length gap back to the third-placed War Hymn.

Despite a long-beaten margin, the July debut at Belmont was sound and now stepping to the 1500m in race with only one or two logical dangers, he's well placed to breakthrough on Wednesday.

Ascot Value Bet - Race 5 No. 7 Safety Fuse

The main query is 1200m, given this filly has mainly contested 1000m-1100m events to date, but from a good draw and carrying just 53kg after the claim, she'll get every chance to run it out.

Although it was only a narrow victory, Safety Fuse had been knocking on the door prior to her third-up attempt at Northam and straight to Class 3 level, the three-year-old didn't have any luck on October 13.

Three-wide on a strong tempo where she was still the pick on-pace brigade, this three-year-old is back to a Class 1 here and as one of the hard fit runners of the field, she should be thereabouts.
