Albury hosts an eight-race meeting on Friday, November 6, with a Super Maiden and Open Handicap among the contests scheduled throughout the afternoon.
The track is currently rated a Soft 5, with the rail out 3m from the 1000m to the 400m mark, making the ability to handle some give in the ground worth considering.

Twilight - Open Handicap Tips (Race 4)
Albury Best Bet - Race 4 No. 1 Keikoku
Three encouraging performances this preparation suggest Keikoku remains in good form, with the experienced eight-year-old looking capable of making a winning debut at Albury despite having to shoulder top weight.
The son of Dream Ahead resumed with a narrow victory over 1000m in Canberra's Black Mount Quality in September, producing a strong performance on Good ground before stepping into Open Handicap company for his next two appearances.
Although yet to win on a rain-affected surface, the gelding demonstrated his ability to handle some give in the ground when finishing second at Moruya on Soft going at his second run back.
His latest effort resulted in a fifth-place finish at Canberra last month, while barrier seven should pose few problems given his usual preference for settling back in the field before working into contention.
Brodie Loy has enjoyed success at Albury and takes the ride for Keikoku's first appearance at the venue, with the gelding's strongest form coming over slightly shorter distances but his recent performances suggesting he can measure up in this assignment.

Albury Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 7 She's Elusive
An unbeaten record from two appearances at Albury makes She's Elusive an appealing prospect on her return to the circuit, with both victories coming during a successful previous preparation.
The Saab Hasan-trained mare opened her account in a maiden over this distance before completing a double with a narrow Class 1 success over 1000m, scoring by just over half a length to confirm her liking for the venue.
Her first-up performance at Echuca last month was disappointing on paper, finishing tenth in a Benchmark 56 handicap, although the circumstances provide a genuine excuse for a mare who was forced to cover considerable ground.
Having jumped from a wide barrier, the daughter of her sire was restrained despite beginning well, raced extremely wide throughout the 1000m contest and was subsequently bumped in the straight, making the finishing position less concerning than it initially appears.
Barrier three should allow Blaike McDougall to secure a considerably more economical run, while the mare has previously performed well on Good ground, and connections' decision to bypass an Echuca assignment on Melbourne Cup Day in favour of this race adds further interest.

Albury Value Bet - Race 6 No. 11 Magic Royale
A marked improvement this preparation has Magic Royale looking capable of breaking through at an attractive price, with the Brendan Ward-trained mare progressing well after a disappointing debut at Wangaratta in February.
The four-year-old has demonstrated greater consistency in three appearances this campaign, highlighted by her latest second-place finish over 1100m in a Wodonga maiden, where she was beaten two lengths after racing prominently.
There has been some encouragement from that form, with the fifth and sixth-place finishers subsequently filling minor placings at Wangaratta, while her ability to race close to the speed should prove advantageous from an inside draw.
All four of her previous appearances have come on Good ground, leaving the current Soft 5 rating as a consideration, although the daughter of Royal Meeting has shown sufficient improvement to suggest another competitive performance is within reach.
Brittany Button takes the ride for the first time, with a favourable barrier providing the opportunity to secure a prominent position, while the application of a nose roll and connections' decision to scratch Magic Royale from Wangaratta on Tuesday in favour of this assignment further strengthen her prospects.

Albury Favourite - Race 7 No. 4 Annotate
A return to Albury looks particularly suitable for Annotate, who boasts a win and a second-place finish from two previous appearances at the venue and appears well placed to record his second victory this preparation.
The son of Justify registered his previous course success over 1400m in Benchmark 58 company in February, while his latest campaign has already produced a victory over 1450m at Tatura towards the end of September.
That success came in a Benchmark 56 handicap, with the gelding subsequently dropping back to 1200m at Swan Hill, where a wide barrier and the shorter distance appeared to work against him in a seventh-place finish beaten just under four lengths.
The return to a more suitable distance should play to his strengths, while an inside barrier is another positive for a runner who has demonstrated tactical versatility and can settle wherever circumstances dictate.
Having won and placed on rain-affected tracks previously, Annotate should have no major concerns with the prevailing conditions, and with Jake Duffy taking the ride for the Shane Sanderson stable, the gelding looks capable of improving on his latest effort at just his fourth start for his current trainer.
