Sandown Favourite - Race 2 No. 5 Ten Deep
She hasn't been out of the money in five Australian starts, which includes back-to-back wins last winter (both on soft tracks) and the mare was spelled after a Saturday metro triumph at Sandown.
With only two starts this season, the four-year-old had had some setbacks, but she still placed in those outings and the June trial at Pakenham was encouraging.
The October form around Splash Back is easy to like, with that galloper recording two stylish metro wins over May and June, while Ten Deep is down in grade off her March 26 run.

It was an enormous return win from La Fracas, who was slow away at Mornington and he still made ground from the rear to record a comfortable two-length victory.
He made light work of Kira, a useful mare who was then runner-up behind a talented Castle On High last week and wet ground looks the key for this four-year-old.
La Fracas has bolted in via both tries on heavy tracks and while he's been competitive over further, keeping him at 1200m is no knock (three-from-three at this trip).

Sandown Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 2 Blazing Harry
It was a sound fresh effort from Blazing Harry, who finished fifth-of-twelve when contesting a 1300m BM72 over the Scone Racing Carnival in May.
While he finished off fairly second-up, the gelding was never in contention via that Randwick BM78 and it's worth noting the sharp improvement when saluting third-up last prep.
The subsequent form in New South Wales and Brisbane was strong, which includes a runner-up finish at Eagle Farm via a race that's produced two stakes winners.

Sandown Value Bet - Race 8 No. 14 Farnborough
This European import didn't figure in two Sydney preps under Bjorn Baker and as a result, Farnborough was a big price ahead of his stable debut for Anthony & Sam Freedman.
The son of Galileo relished a strong mile when recording an upset win on June 6 and he was strong past the line in a tick-over jump-out at Sandown on June 25.
Farnborough is perhaps more comfortable racing on his Melbourne leg, with two seconds and a win recorded via his last three anti-clockwise attempts in Ireland.
