The Last Post Handicap Tips (Race 2)

Randwick Roughie - Race 2 No. 15 Nasebah

Nasebah is a big price, with her overseas form suggesting that 1400m may be on the sharp side.

However, the Victorian jumpout work has been particularly sharp, moving nicely in an 800m heat at Werribee before a more prominent performance under riding over 1000m at Flemington on April 10 when runner-up.

With lightly raced imports on low ratings, they can often be placed softer and/or over further if they are dour, and this is not something commonly seen from Chris Waller unless he has an opinion of them.

The Kingman progeny are known to perform well in Australia.

She could be one to entertain each-way off her recent work.

The Third Australian General Hospital Tips (Race 3)

Randwick Next Best Bet - Race 3 No. 6 Cantiamo

Cantiamo was spelled after a fifth-placed finish on debut when heavily backed for the Inglis Nursery.

She returned with back-to-back Sydney wins to start her three-year-old campaign.

A shorter break followed before heading to Melbourne for two Group 3 runs in November, where nothing went right.

With a big drop in grade to a provincial BM68, she proved much too classy for her Gosford opposition when resuming on March 14.

Nothing to her inside made ground in the Group 3 PJ Bell Stakes on April 4, where she was beaten just over two lengths, and back to a BM78 against her own sex, she draws well and will strip fitter.

Australian Flying Corps Handicap Tips (Race 4)

Randwick Best Bet - Race 4 No. 9 Call Me Gorgeous

Call Me Gorgeous never produced in Hong Kong, but his Sydney form either side of that stint has been very consistent.

He has recorded a debut second and three wins from four Australian runs, including back-to-back victories through March and April.

Since returning to the David Pfeiffer stable, he has not had the favours, often dragged back in slowly run races.

Despite that, Call Me Gorgeous has still let down strongly, including last start at Warwick Farm when recording the fastest last 400m and 200m of the April 1 meeting.

His late work in an April 17 trial at Rosehill was excellent, and while this is tougher at Saturday BM78 level, he has the class to measure up with even luck.

Gallipoli Handicap Tips (Race 5)

Randwick Value Bet - Race 5 No. 13 Confidentiality

This is a good time of year for late-season three-year-olds to take on older horses, given their development and the weight relief available in these races.

That applies to Confidentiality, who drops to 52kg, which is 5.5kg less than she carried in her return win at Newcastle.

She was set a task in that race, having to reel in the leader and getting there in the final stride in an eye-catching effort.

Her earlier preparation and recent trial work suggest she is capable of settling closer in the run.

The daughter of Shalaa is still improving and can be competitive again here.

Anzac Day Cup Tips (Race 6)

Randwick Feature Bet - Race 6 No. 2 Zaphod

We were with Zaphod first-up in the Muswellbrook Cup, where he was heavily backed.

The five-year-old arguably should have won that race, never clear when needed and only getting out when it was too late.

He still finished off with the fastest last 200m of the event.

A tick-over trial at Gosford on April 13 was solid, where he worked nicely under a hold.

The rise in distance and kinder draw are positives, and off a summer campaign that included back-to-back wins in Queensland, Zaphod looks well placed to atone.
