She's frustrated punters with defeats at short prices in her last three runs, although Dancing Dolly hasn't finished out of the money in five starts and her Cranbourne return was strong.

The three-year-old was a notable drifter in the market for that April 4 resumption, where she came from back in the field vs the race shape (winner sat outside of the leader, runner-up box-seated).

From a kinder draw second-up, Dancing Dolly can settle much closer to the speed on Wednesday and the rise in distance is another positive for the daughter of Ace High.

Roderick Insurance Brokers BM64 Handicap Tips (Race 6)

Geelong Next Best Bet - Race 6 No. 2 Quantum Impact

He was an eye-catcher on Australian debut when contesting a 1400m BM64 at Sandown and off the back of that March 19 performance, he was well-backed second-up at Mornington.

Quantum Impact wasn't able to land those bets in that April 6 outing, where the gelding was exposed early via an uphill climb and he should only strip fitter from that 1500m attempt.

With blinkers applied and Blake Shinn now aboard Quantum Impact, don't be surprised if the Hayes-trained galloper is ridden with more intent, especially with a few runs under the belt.

Recycle 4 Change BM70 Handicap Tips (Race 7)

Geelong Favourite - Race 7 No. 7 Mauricio

1100m proved too sharp via her first-up appearance last time in, where Mauricio resumed in a straight-track dash and she quickly atoned with a BM64 victory at Sandown in May.

The daughter of Maurice had placed in her previous two fresh showings and returning over 1312m gives her a genuine sniff in this assignment (her last win was recorded over 1300m).

Mauricio moved well in a quiet jump-out before completing a stronger workout at Cranbourne on April 7 and Ben Allen has been in the saddle for both autumn hit-out's.

Geelong Taxi Network BM64 Handicap Tips (Race 8)

Geelong Value Bet - Race 8 No. 3 Ritzytwenties

This Waterhouse & Bott-trained galloper had won two jump-out's ahead of his return on March 20 and Ritzytwenties gave a good sight on the speed in that March 20 attempt.

There were excuses last start at Mornington, where Ritzytwenties covered ground over 1500m and he was only second-up off a 15-month absence, so there's improvement to come.

His earlier New South Wales form is strong enough for this, while he's bred to handle the longer journey, being by Dundeel and out of a Medaglia D'oro mare who saluted over 2000m.
