Eagle Farm Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 3 Fioprospero

He's very honest and now with three runs completed following a freshen-up, which includes a last start attempt over this journey, Fioprospero should be closing in on a peak performance.

Although he's yet to tick the 2400m box, the five-year-old placed via his first try over the distance last time out, while being by Fiorente and out of a mare who was successful over 3000m, he's bred to relish this trip.

His recent winter Sydney references read well enough for what's an average staying affair and a return to Eagle Farm is a big positive for Fioprospero, who recorded back-to-back victories here over March and April.

XXXX Open Handicap Tips (Race 7)


Eagle Farm Roughie - Race 7 No. 5 Flying Crazy

With a racing pattern than lends itself to needing luck in run, Flying Crazy doesn't exactly win out of turn, however, he's a three-time stakes winner who can produce a big finish and he has a Listed victory over this track/trip.

The seven-year-old made his stable debut for Jake Hull in the Listed Ramornie Handicap last month, where he was never in contention after settling back in a race that suited the on-speed runners.

His prior form was okay, with two solid efforts to open his autumn campaign before a luckless Listed attempt at Scone and along with being suited up to 1400m now, this is also one of the weakest races he's seen in a while.

Eagle Farm Value Bet - Race 8 No. 6 Tijuana Two Step

On paper, there isn't much to fault with Tijuana Two Step, a mare who has recorded seven wins and three placings from 13 starts to date, while she's been competitive at every race day appearance.

Her biggest lost last season was at the Sunshine Coast and the daughter of Super One should've finished closer there, as she was denied an outside run at a key stage (still ran the fastest last 400m and 200m of the race)

She's been freshened-up since a sixth-place finish at the Gold Coast on June 21, with that race taken out by Sultry Siren (Saturday winner last month) and blinkers are applied (sound in a recent trial with them on).

Ladbrokes Top 2/3/4 Betting BM78 Tips (Race 9)


Eagle Farm Best Bet - Race 9 No. 3 Belegato

He outperformed a long starting price first-up via a third-of-twelve in Listed company, where Belegato finished within half a length of Spicy Martini, who was a Group 3 winner only two starts later.

The Liam Birchley-trained galloper followed that strong return up with a Doomben triumph and anything resembling those first two performances of the prep would see him hard very to beat in this BM78.

In a 200k feature on July 5, Belegato was competitive when fourth-of-fourteen over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast and in the process, he beat home Lead Me On. who won his next two outings at Eagle Farm.
