Coffs Harbour stages its premier meeting on Friday, August 7, with the $150,000 Coffs Harbour Cup headlining the program and carrying Big Dance eligibility.
A strong support card has also been assembled, including the Dan Baker Showcase Sprint, which opens the quaddie.

Coffs Harbour Roughie - Race 2 No. 9 Birdy Girl
Despite limited opportunities, Bailie Baker has remained a profitable rider to follow in 2026, with 22 winners at an ROI of 24%, including eight victories this winter.
The apprentice takes the reins on Birdy Girl, who was simply run off her feet when remaining over 1000m second-up at Port Macquarie, although she still made some late ground.
That followed a very encouraging return at Grafton, where the mare rattled home and recorded the second-fastest final 200m of the entire Ramornie Handicap program.
This is a sharp rise in distance, but the five-year-old is clearly looking for more ground and produced five placings after her debut seventh last year, including strong market support for the latest three of those efforts.
Although lacking tactical speed, the daughter of Bel Esprit should settle into a more comfortable rhythm over this longer journey and can give the race a shake third-up at a big each-way price.

Coffs Harbour Best Bet - Race 5 No. 6 Lunaite
The three-run preparation over late summer and early autumn never went to plan for Lunaite, beginning with a tough first-up defeat as an odds-on favourite at Port Macquarie.
She covered ground in that February 22 country qualifier, endured another difficult run in the Scone Wild Card on March 20 and a slow recovery was noted after contesting a metropolitan BM78 at Doomben.
The Paul Snowden-trained mare was subsequently spelled, having earlier won a Rosehill Highway first-up on November 8 under Ben Looker, who regains the ride on Friday.
All three career victories have come around 1200m, while she remained competitive when stretched to 1400m in a Sydney BM78 and the Scone Wild Card despite appearing not to see out the trip.
With 55kg and weight relief from her main dangers, Lunaite is well placed returning in this country sprint, while off a good return and with strong second-up stats, Mister Bianco is the clear threat if he takes his place rather than running at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

Coffs Harbour Value Bet - Race 6 No. 15 Zucchero
With a pair of scratchings already confirmed, first emergency Zucchero is guaranteed a start and has been ticking over nicely in his first preparation for Grafton trainer John Shelton.
He resumed at a big price from a wide barrier on July 5 and should have finished closer in the 1115m event.
Another wide alley awaited second-up a fortnight later, but the gelding worked home strongly and recorded the fastest final 800m and 600m of the entire July 19 program.
The slight rise in distance suits third-up, while the son of Dundeel can settle closer from a low draw and carries only 53kg after Archie McColm’s claim.
McColm has ridden four winners from his past 15 rides, including doubles at Gatton and Port Macquarie last week, and with 7kg less than the second-up outing, along with a kinder map and added fitness, Zucchero looks well over the odds.

Coffs Harbour Feature Bet - Race 7 No. 3 Hollywood Hero
An even Coffs Harbour Cup has Perfect Justice heading the early market, although his recent Sydney Midway references are not particularly strong.
Hollywood Hero sits on the second line of betting and, while he does not win out of turn, the Bjorn Baker-trained gelding owns a considerably stronger overall résumé than the favourite.
He should now be at peak fitness after three winter runs, with his latest coming over this distance in the South Grafton Cup, where he was dragged back to the rear and could not sustain a wide run after being set a huge task.
His June 6 return at Randwick was encouraging over 1300m, while he was unlucky not to salute second-up on June 27 after looking the winner before Emirates followed him through and proved too strong with 6kg less and greater race fitness.
With even luck from a middle draw, Hollywood Hero should be going close in the Coffs Harbour Cup.
