Alex de Minaur vs Stefanos Tsitsipas Tips, Prediction & Live Stream - Demon 1-11 vs Greek rival
An exciting showdown is set for the Miami Masters' second round, featuring Alex de Minaur against Stefanos Tsitsipas. Although both players are experiencing challenges in their form, historical data favors Tsitsipas, who leads their head-to-head meetings 11-1. De Minaur's performance on the Sunshine Swing hasn't been promising, while Tsitsipas, despite slipping in rankings, showcased a strong opening performance in this tournament. Given Tsitsipas' past dominance over de Minaur and the odds, he is pegged as a potential winner for this match.

Alex de Minaur vs Stefanos Tsitsipas Tips, Prediction & Live Stream
An intriguing second round clash awaits in the second round of the Miami Masters as Aussie star Alex de Minaur comes up against a slumping Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Tsitsipas has endured a horror period of form that has seen him tumble outside of the world's top 50. It's been a tumultuous time for the Greek, but perhaps - just maybe - this favourable matchup could spark a change in fortunes?
Tsitsipas has won 11 of the 12 previous meetings with de Minaur - that's about as dominant as it gets on the main tour. De Minaur also isn't in great form heading into this tournament, losing in the opening round of Acapulco to Patrick Kypson and the third round of Indian Wells to Cameron Norrie. The Demon has never really produced his best tennis over the Sunshine Swing and has never been beyond the R16 in Miami.
Despite Tsitsipas' horrible form, I can't ignore that H2H and the $3.00 on offer for the upset. If de Minaur was in better form, I'd reconsider, but the Aussie hasn't played well since the Rotterdam title in early February. Tsitsipas was a dominant straight sets winner in his opening round and he should be hyped for this - I'll back him at the line and outright.
De Minaur vs Tsitsipas Stats & Trends
- Tsitsipas leads the H2H with de Minaur 11-1
- De Minaur has lost two of his last three matches
- De Minaur has a negative 5-6 record in Miami
- Tsitsipas is 1-0 vs top 10 players in 2026

Alex de Minaur Form Analysis
- 2026 Record: 12-4
- ATP Miami Record: 5-6
- Current Ranking: No. 6
- Career-High Ranking: No. 6 (2024)
It was a nice start to the season for De Minaur as he made another Australian Open quarter-final and secured an 11th ATP title at the 500 event in Rotterdam.
However, the Aussie hasn't been able to sustain that winning momentum since heading over to North America.
De Minaur was bounced in the opening round of Acapulco by World No. 103 Patrick Kypson and didn't fare much better in Indian Wells, claiming a good win over Seb Korda before a straight sets defeat to Cameron Norrie.
The 27-year-old has never been past the R16 in Miami and went down to Matteo Berrettini at that stage in straight sets last year.
Stefanos Tsitsipas Form Analysis
- 2026 Record: 10-6
- ATP Miami Record: 10-7
- Current Ranking: No. 51
- Career-High Ranking: No. 3 (2021)
It's been a rough couple of years for Tsitsipas and things haven't really looked like improving so far in 2026.
The Greek has dropped outside of the top 50 and continues to look lost on the court. It's a far cry from the man who peaked at No. 3 in the world and made multiple Grand Slam finals just a few years ago.
Tsitsipas looked like he turned his form around at the start of the season when he beat Taylor Fritz at the United Cup, but he's failed to turn that triumph into any sort of positive momentum.
The 27-year-old's best result was making the quarter-finals of Doha, but he was then knocked out in the opening round of Dubai and Indian Wells by Ugo Humbert and Denis Shapovalov respectively.
Tsitsipas' best result in Miami was a quarter-final run in 2021. He had a nice 6-1 7-6 win over qualifier Arthur Fery in the first round earlier in the week.

Verdict
Can't ignore the $3.00 odds on offer for someone who has an 11-1 record over the favourite. Not hugely confident, but Tsitsipas can claim the upset here.
