Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev Tips, Prediction & Live Stream - Sinner targets seventh straight win over Zverev
Jannik Sinner is set to face Alexander Zverev in the Miami Masters semi-final, marking their second consecutive meeting at this stage in the Masters 1000 series. Sinner, who has won their last six encounters, continues an impressive streak that sees him close to achieving the Sunshine Double. His dominant form this season makes him favored to cover a -4.5 games line against Zverev. Betting on Sinner seems wise, given his consistent victories over top-tier opponents not named Carlos Alcaraz.

Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev Tips, Prediction & Live Stream
Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev square off for the second straight Masters 1000 semi-final when they clash in Miami on Friday night.
Of course Sinner has been supremely dominant in this matchup recently, winning the last six meetings - including a routine 6-2 6-4 triumph in Indian Wells earlier this month. Sinner is now two wins away from becoming the first man since Roger Federer in 2017 to secure the Sunshine Double - aka, winning both Indian Wells and Miami titles in the same season.
You'd be a brave man to bet against him now. Sinner has stormed into the final four without dropping a set and there's just no way you can justify backing Zverev - outright or to cover the +4.5 line. The German has been looking good in Miami and serving well - but he repeatedly comes up short against the big dogs and Sinner has an absolutely ridiculous record against fellow top 10 players not named Carlos Alcaraz.
All up, I think the even money value on Sinner covering a -4.5 games line in victory looks pretty good - this bet has comfortably landed in the last three encounters.

Jannik Sinner Form Analysis
- 2026 Record: 17-2
- ATP Miami Record: 23-3
- Current Ranking: No. 2
- Career-High Ranking: No. 1 (2024)
Sinner endured a challenging opening stretch to the season, but his level has surged during the Sunshine Double and he now shapes as a leading contender to complete the sweep.
The Italian was below his best down under, falling to Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open semi-finals, and his early-season inconsistency continued with an upset loss to Jakub Mensik in the Doha quarter-finals.
Since then, Sinner has rediscovered his rhythm in emphatic fashion, capturing his maiden Indian Wells title with a statement win over Daniil Medvedev in the final. He has carried that momentum into Miami, advancing smoothly into the semi-finals.
Sinner opened with dominant straight-sets victories over Damir Dzumhur and Corentin Moutet, before being pushed harder by Alex Michelsen. Despite trailing 3-5 in the second set, he steadied to close out a 7-5, 7-6(4) win, underlining his composure and ability to elevate in pressure moments.
The World No. 2 was back to his dominant best in the semi-finals, demolishing Frances Tiafoe 6-2 6-2 and dropping just nine points on serve.
Alexander Zverev Form Analysis
- 2026 Record: 15-4
- ATP Miami Record: 23-10
- Current Ranking: No. 4
- Career-High Ranking: No. 2 (2022)
Zverev has sort of been at a career crossroads for the last couple of years - he's never really in danger of dropping out of the top five, but he also looks no closer to challenging for a first Grand Slam title. He basically just exists as we all expect him too, rarely drifting from his standard level or achievements.
Stagnated is the word. And fortunately it's been more of the same so far in 2026. Zverev made the Australian Open semi-finals, but blew a break lead in the fifth set against a cramping Alcaraz - and nobody was surprised in the slightest.
The German took some time off, returned in Acapulco and predictably was nowhere near his best as he lost to Miomir Kecmanovic. Zverev was solid in Indian Wells, making the semi-finals before a 6-2 6-4 loss to Sinner.
And a rinse and repeat looks on the cards in Miami - Zverev has cruised into the final four for the loss of just one set combined and crushed Francisco Cerundolo 6-1 6-2 in the quarter-finals.
