Jiri Lehecka vs Arthur Fils Tips, Prediction & Live Stream
It's a fantastic opportunity for both Jiri Lehecka and Arthur Fils as the pair lock horns for a place in a maiden Masters 1000 final in Miami on Friday.
With Carlos Alcaraz crashing out early, there was always going to be a great chance for someone to capitalise and go deep in Miami - and Lehecka and Fils are the two players with the golden opportunity to play for a coveted Masters 1000 title.
Lehecka took out seventh seed Taylor Fritz on his way to the final four, while Fils produced a miraculous escape against Tommy Paul in the quarter-finals, saving four consecutive match points in the final set tiebreak in one of the finest performances of the year.
Confidence is sky-high for both, but who emerges triumphant? I'm leaning with Lehecka as the underdog. Fils poured out a lot of emotion in that incredible victory over Paul, which was also a very physical match where he failed to break serve. He also finally snapped a four-match losing run in Masters 1000 quarter-finals. Letdown alert? Lehecka has already featured in a Masters 1000 semi-final, so he has experience in these situations, while he also should be the fresher of the pair. Not much separates these two on a talent/skill level, so I will go with the better value on Lehecka.

Jiri Lehecka Form Analysis
- 2026 Record: 10-5
- ATP Miami Record: 6-3
- Current Ranking: No. 22
- Career-High Ranking: No. 16 (2025)
Lehecka has dealt with his fair share of injury problems over the last couple of years, which has contributed to him failing to build on that career-high ranking of No. 16.
Injury disrupted him again to launch the year, with Lehecka retiring in Brisbane and suffering a first round Australian Open exit to a qualifier.
The Czech managed to generate a bit of momentum in last month's Middle East swing with back-to-back quarter-finals in Doha and Dubai, but he stumbled in Indian Wells with a first round loss to Sebastian Baez.
However, Lehecka has taken advantage of a solid draw in Miami to make his second Masters 1000 semi-final, beating Moise Kouame and Ethan Quinn before a marquee victory over Taylor Fritz.
The 24-year-old then ended the dream run of 20-year-old qualifier Martin Landaluce in the quarter-finals, prevailing 7-6(1) 7-5.
Arthur Fils Form Analysis
- 2026 Record: 13-4
- ATP Miami Record: 7-2
- Current Ranking: No. 31
- Career-High Ranking: No. 14 (April 2025)
Fils has engineered a superb return from his back injury, and with minimal ranking points to defend after Roland Garros, his trajectory points firmly towards a top 10 breakthrough by season’s end.
The Frenchman has won 13 of his 17 matches since rejoining the tour, with each of his four defeats coming against top 10 opposition - a clear indicator of his rising level. At just 21, Fils has built strong momentum over the last month or so, reaching the Doha final before backing it up with a quarter-final run at Indian Wells.
He has carried that form into Miami, advancing to a first Masters 1000 semi-final. Fils opened with a routine win over wildcard Darwin Blanch, then produced one of the most dominant performances of the tournament in a 6-0, 6-1 dismantling of Stefanos Tsitsipas in under an hour. He followed that with a composed and resilient 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-4 victory over Shanghai Masters champion Valentin Vacherot, sealing back-to-back quarter-final appearances at the event.
But Fils wasn't done there - the Frenchman produced one of the best comebacks you'll see against Tommy Paul to reach the final four, recovering from 2-6 down in the final set tiebreak to emerge a 6-7(3) 7-6(4) 7-6(6) winner.
"That's the best result I've had in my life so far," said Fils. "I will try to do my best in the semis, but now I'm pretty happy."
