Auckland FC vs Newcastle Jets Tips & Prediction - Auckland too solid for erratic Jets

Despite seeing their game against Sydney FC postponed due to poor pitch conditions last week, Auckland remain flying high at the top of the table - and now they have revenge on their minds when they face the free-scoring, but defensively vulnerable Jets to ring in 2026. Newcastle stunned Auckland 2-1 at this venue a few weeks ago, but that game was contested in almost unplayable conditions, with torrential rain falling for the majority of the clash. Auckland have since put together a three-game winning streak, while the Jets are more erratic than ever, losing an insane Boxing Day encounter with Macarthur by a 5-4 score.

Newcastle could easily be good for multiple goals here, but I don't think they have the defensive stability or resolve to stop Auckland scoring more.
