Who saw this coming, especially after the Dolphins lost their opening four games in the competition? Kristian Woolf has worked his magic and transformed the Dolphins into the most lethal attacking team in the competition, scoring a whopping 158 points in their last three victories, including 10-try hauls over the Dragons and Cowboys.
I'm backing the Phins to make it four wins on the trot and cover a -10.5 line, but I don't think they're in for another points blitz. That's because the Knights are actually amongst the best defensive teams in the competition, despite their dreadful season and being one of the most unwatchable sides in recent memory. The total points is line is set at 47.5 and the Knights have gone under in 11 of their 13 games this season.
The Dolphins winning comfortably with Under 47.5 points are the main plays here, while I'm going to back Dominic Young to cross in his return to Newcastle after enjoying a prolific try-scoring run at the club in his previous stint.
- Dolphins have won seven of their last 10 games
- Dolphins have won their last three games, scoring 158 points combined
- Six of the Dolphins' seven wins this season have come by 18+ points
- Knights have failed to cover a +10.5 line in seven of their nine defeats this season
- Knights have seen Under 47.5 points in 11 of their 13 games this season
- Dominic Young has scored 43 tries in 51 games for the Knights
Head To Head
The Knights have won the last four meetings between the teams, including a 26-12 triumph in Round 3 earlier this season, with James Schiller (who's been dropped for Dom Young for this contest) crossing for a double.

The Dolphins are the form team in the competition right now, scoring points for fun and rising to sixth on the ladder.
This current run has come out of nowhere, with the Dolphins demolishing the Bulldogs 44-8, the Dragons 56-6 and the Cowboys 58-4 in their last three games.
Isaiya Katoa continues to cement himself as the brightest young halfback in the NRL, with his spark and creativity allowing the Phins' outside backs to shine.
Herbie Farnworth is on a club record run of scoring at least one try in eight consecutive games, while winger Jack Bostock crossed for four tries in the demolition of North Queensland last week - and dropped a sitter for five too.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow remains in Perth and will back up from Origin, with Jake Averillo moving to the centres and Max Feagai to the reserves.
Felise Kaufusi is out suspended, meaning Mark Nicholls starts the game in the front row and Harrison Graham joins the bench. Katoa will captain the Dolphins for the first time.

The Knights have been a tough watch all season and their 12-8 loss to a depleted Roosters side last week needs to be erased from history immediately.
Newcastle just can't attack - it's that simple and they remind me of the Bulldogs when they were at their worst a few years ago.
Averaging 13 points per game this season, the Knights simply don't have the firepower to compete with most teams this year - and that's despite having one of the best defences in the competition.
In saying all of that, the Knights have won two of their last four games and sit just two wins outside the top eight - an unlikely win here would restore some confidence and set up and interesting next month.

Newcastle Knights Team News
Big boost to the Knights' backline this week, with Dom Young returning to the club on the wing, while Bradman Best (hamstring) and Kalyn Ponga (Origin) are also back, alongside five-eighth Fletcher Sharpe, who has recovered from a calf injury that sidelined him last week.
Tyson Frizell also returns, so James Schiller, Fletcher Hunt, Kyle McCarthy and Jackson Hastings have dropped to the reserves.

Verdict
The Dolphins will have too much firepower for the Knights to handle, but considering Newcastle's excellent defence, I'm tipping Under 47.5 total points.
Dom Young can help ignite the Knights' attack by scoring his 44th try for the club upon his return.
