Randwick Favourite - Race 3 No. 4 Brave One

He was gelded ahead of his autumn resumption, where Brave One ran into a good wet tracker in Cruel Summer and that winner also enjoyed a more economical run.

The Team Hawkes-trained galloper gapped third once again when runner-up to Kerguelen last start and he provided a perfect tow into the race for that victor.

With any improvement third-up on Saturday, Brave One does look well placed out to 1300m here, although he'll need to overcome a sticky draw.

Elite Sand & Soil Handicap Tips (Race 4)

Randwick Best Bet - Race 4 No. 8 Gentileschi

This daughter of Dundeel is building towards a metro breakthrough and now up to 1800m, Gentileschi appears well suited in her fourth-up assignment.

The four-year-old proved too classy at Muswellbrook first-up and she was then narrowly denied of back-to-back wins when contesting a 1700m BM78 at Scone.

Coming back to 1600m worked against Gentileschi third-up, but she still closed off well without luck and the mare should've won over this distance last prep.

QMS Media Handicap Tips (Race 5)

Randwick Roughie - Race 5 No. 9 Last Command

After putting the writing on the wall via a slashing Hawkesbury resumption, Last Command brought up win number three second-up at Kembla Grange.

He then had no favours in a similar event to this at Gosford, where he was back in a slowly run race and the gelding finished off well (fastest last 400m and 200m of the race).

On a testing Randwick surface, his May 24 failure can be forgiven (all top three finishes have come on firmer ground) and he's won a subsequent trial.

Racing For Good Civic Stakes Tips (Race 9)

Randwick Feature Bet - Race 9 No. 21 Raikkonen

Raikkonen has dual accepted, with the three-year-old drawn out in a 1400m BM78 (Race 8) and he's the fifth emergency for the Listed Civic Stakes.

With three scratchings already confirmed and with no rider declared on the fourth emergency, there's a genuine chance that he makes the final field of this feature.

After proving too classy first-up at Gosford, his Group 3 effort in Brisbane was full of merit, where Raikkonen stuck on for fourth despite covering ground.

Switzerland @ Coolmore Handicap Tips (Race 10)

Randwick Value Bet - Race 10 No. 11 Step Aside

It was D-Day for Step Aside via his last summer appearance and the Chris Waller-trained galloper ended a decent drought in that Rosehill attempt.

His confidence was up going to paddock and the son of Redwood survived a late betting drift when saluting first-up at Randwick (fastest last 200m of the April 26 meeting).

He's backed that up with a third at Sandown (should've finished closer), which is a good form race through Hughes and Oh Too Good (subsequent Saturday winners).
