Flemington Best Bet - Race 2 No. 3 Shockletz

There's a weight swing against her vs Prochester from a narrow a margin here a fortnight ago, however, Shockletz looks to have more upside than that rival.

The Ciaron Maher-trained filly was only third-up and going from 1600m to 2000m in that June 7 attempt, whereas Prochester is much deeper into his prep and he was 60/1 there.

Shockletz has the potential to get over more ground in time, but she should be able to at least hold her form now fourth-up and with a 2000m run under the belt.

Les Twentyman OAM Handicap Tips (Race 5)

Flemington Favourite - Race 5 No. 2 Cafe Millenium

1200m was short on the short side, although Cafe Millenium arguably wins first-up had he drawn kinder and getting to seven furlongs second-up looks ideal.

While he looked suited down in the weights at Sandown last Saturday, connections have opted for this weaker BM84 and he gets relief after the 3kg claim.

Barrier seven is ideal for Cafe Millenium, as he's a big horse who needs galloping room and he was working strongly ahead of his debut for the Hayes yard.

Flemington Value Bet - Race 6 No. 6 Captain Electric

He's been a very handy pick-up for the new connections, with Captain Electric purchased for just $47,500 in the May online sales last year.

The son of Savabeel is closing in on $150,000 in prizemoney since joining the Andrea Leek and he's only completed six runs for the new stable (five of them last winter).

It was a great training effort to get him bolting in first-up over 2000m, while there's still upside as a lightly raced type and we'll find out here if he's just a wet tracker.

The David Bourke Tips (Race 8)

Flemington Roughie - Race 8 No. 1 Casino Seventeen

The seven-year-old has had a handful of state switches and stable changes over the journey, with Casino Seventeen now under the care of Gavin Bedggood.

Bedggood has an excellent record with tried horses and with a versatile performer who was a Group 2 WFA winner fresh last prep, he doesn't need to turn around this recruit.

His only time finishing out the money first-up was a debut fifth and after a quiet first jump-out, Casino Seventeen completed a stronger workout on June 11.

Flemington Next Best Bet - Race 9 No. 9 Fieldelo

Bendigo trainer Toby Lake has a talented on his hands with Fieldelo, who denied a handy Sweethearted on debut in November and she was spelled afterwards.

The three-year-old returned with a dominant performance on her home track and while this is a big rise in class, she still heads the betting for the finale.

Being from a small yard and with a last start BM58 reference for a decent affair, Fieldelo may drift in the market closer to the jump, but she does look smart.
