Randwick Best Bet - Race 5 No. 7 Flying Bandit

Rising to 2000m would've suited, however, skipping last Saturday's JRA Plate and going to this BM94 is better placement for Flying Bandit, who is down on the 52.5kg minimum under Jay Ford.

He's built a tidy record while learning on the job, with five wins and three placings recorded from 10 outings, while he carries 7kg less from his stylish last start performance at Hawkesbury.

Flying Bandit is unbeaten on wet ground, which includes a Heavy 10 romp and being only third-up where a testing 1800m should suit, he looks the most progressive horse in this field.

Randwick Value Bet - Race 7 No. 2 Lonhro's Queen

With back-to-back victories to open her autumn account and with the last of those coming via a metro Hawkesbury program on April 9, Lonhro's Queen is ready for this Saturday assignment.

The four-year-old remains against her own sex for this Randwick attempt and after recording the fastest last 600m of the April 9 meeting, she carries 2kg less from that last appearance.

That latest triumph was on a good surface, however, Lonhro's Queen has won three from four tries on wet tracks and the last of those was a slick return effort on a Heavy 8 back in March.

Randwick Roughie - Race 9 No. 13 Mighty Myrtle

The Dryden & Snowden-trained mare has recorded the fastest last 200m of both races this time, which have been in Country Qualifiers and she was a month between runs second-up on March 23.

With four wins and two seconds from nine outings, Mighty Myrtle has put together a tidy record in her short career to date and she's won both of her prior third-up attempts.

She's drawn out in both starts this prep and connections scratched form Albury last week due to another wide alley, but Mighty Myrtle has a low gate here and a wet track won't worry her.

Randwick Next Best Bet - Race 10 No. 1 Know Thyself

He atoned from a return defeat as an odds-on fav when bolting in with a Country Qualifier at Scone and Know Thyself progressed from there to win the Country Championships Final at Randwick.

Ability got the four-year-old home in that April 5 performance, as he was clearly looking for 1600m third-up and Aaron Bullock stays aboard for Saturday's fourth-up attempt over a mile.

His only loss on heavy ground was a third-place finish in the Group 3 Winx Guineas last winter and while he's up in the weights here, Know Thyself is the class horse in an average race.
