Eagle Farm Best Bet - Race 4 No. 3 Navyonthehighway

The four-year-old recorded two victories last prep including when returning to action over 1110m at Doomben in early October.

The pick raced on a good 3 track on that occasion and went on to complete a double when stepped up to 1350m for a Class 3 contest at the same venue three weeks later.

While the Merchant Navy filly failed to score on her final two starts that prep both of those efforts came at a higher level including when fourth in a 1400m Group 2 at Rosehill.

The selection ended that prep with a solid fourth in the Listed Tattersall’s Recognition Stakes over 1350m back at Doomben at the end of November.

The filly confirmed she handles wet underfoot conditions that day and she boasts a strong record fresh having won both first up starts in the past.

Barrier two is a positive in this event and with Tahlia Fenlon taking two-kilogram’s off her back she looks up to resuming with a win dropping in grade.

Eagle Farm Value Bet - Race 6 No. 7 Seascape

The daughter of I Am Invincible has registered three wins to date including when racing over 1150m on the Kensington track at Randwick a month ago.

The selection contested a Benchmark 72 handicap held on a good 4 track that day having delivered an improved effort following a third at the same venue prior.

That third-place finish also came in a Benchmark 72 handicap with the filly racing over 1100m on a soft 5 surface on that occasion.

Michael Freedman’s horses have been running well in the main of late and his representative arrives here on the back of a success in a 740m barrier trial at Randwick earlier this month.

The filly has been allocated a wide barrier here and having demonstrated good early speed in the past she looks capable of overcoming that here.

While the pick is yet to race over this distance the drop back shouldn’t pose an issue with Angela Jones booked to ride.

The Cage Youth Foundation Princess Stakes (Listed) Tips (Race 7)

Eagle Farm Feature Bet - Race 7 No. 1 Harlem Queen

Nathan Doyle’s filly registered some good efforts earlier this season including when registered three top four finishes at Group 1 level.

Those efforts, a second in the six runner Flight Stakes over 1600m and fourth placed finishes in the Spring Champion Stakes and Crown Oaks over further came in stronger contests than she tackles here.

While the daughter of Brutal has failed to salute in two starts this prep she was beaten less than two lengths over 1500m in Rosehill’s Group 3 Emancipation Stakes at the start of this month.

The selection raced on a heavy 8 track that day when jumping from a wide barrier tackling older rivals that day and she returns to racing against her own age group here.

The forecast soft 6 surface is no issue with the filly having been allocated a good barrier five from the rail.

The pick has a bit in hand on ratings and with Taylor Marshall retaining the ride she looks up to returning to winning ways.

Heart Of The Community Benchmark 90 Handicap Tips (Race 9)

Eagle Farm Next Best Bet - Race 9 No. 14 Warby

The five-year-old has shown good form at this venue in the past winning three times including by over half-a-length when contesting a 1300m event just over a month ago.

The gelding contested a Benchmark 85 handicap on a good 4 track that day however it’s of note that he has won on wet tracks in the past including at this venue.

The son of Hellbent had resumed with a good fourth place finish when beaten a length in a 1200m Class 6 contest when racing first up here prior.

Tony Gollan’s gelding is a consistent type having registered top four finishes in each of his last seven starts and he looks ready for the step up in grade he gets here.

The shorter distance here is no issue with jockey Ryan Maloney, on board last time out bidding for his fifth win in seven starts on the gelding.

The pick boasts an inside barrier here and having been freshened since her latest effort he looks capable of recording back-to-back wins.
