AFGRI Tractors And Sprayers Maiden Tips (Race 3)

Northam Value Bet - Race 3 No. 8 Chattahoochie

She was popular in betting on debut at Northam on May 3 when contesting a 1000m maiden, with that market support following a dominant Belmont trial win on April 13.

The filly couldn't repay those supporters when a well-held runner-up on race-day debut, although there was still merit to the performance after becoming unbalanced at the start when bumped.

That maiden was won by the speedy Now You See Me, who has since franked the form with three more victories from her next three appearances.

The Mack Hall-trained youngster was impressive again when runner-up in a Belmont trial on July 6, a heat she could easily have won but was well looked after when going to the line under a hold.

She appeals as the value outside the two market elects, with Two Up Boom only fair first-up but does get blinkers applied, while Super Sentai has also trialled well ahead of this fresh assignment.

Northam Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 5 Delzee

This three-year-old has plenty of raw talent, which was evident in a June 29 trial win at Lark Hill despite racing greenly.

That lack of race experience was also apparent on debut at Northam on July 9, when chasing home as runner-up in a one-length defeat behind Dawn Dancer.

That winner quickly franked the form by backing up two days later to salute at Belmont on a Saturday card, while third-placed Peanut Butter also brought some solid prior form references through Common Touch and Forgotten Son.

Delzee looks the type who will continue to improve with racing after wanting to lay in throughout that first race-day appearance, and the tongue tie is applied ahead of Thursday's assignment.

Holly Nottle takes the reins and, while it's been a quiet winter for the young hoop, only William Pike has ridden more winners in Western Australia this season, while she combines with Summer Dickson, a trainer-jockey pairing that has netted seven winners during the 2025/26 season.

Northam Best Bet - Race 7 No. 1 Call Me Invincible

Call Me Invincible appeals on an each-way basis in the penultimate race of Thursday's Northam program, with the Parnham-trained gelding building a solid fitness base through three winter runs.

His June 6 return at Belmont produced a runner-up finish behind Reminiscence, who franked the form with a Class 1 victory 11 days later, while third-placed Western Miss has since won her last three starts, including a 59+ at Belmont last Saturday.

Not much has gone right in two subsequent appearances, with the gelding covering ground at Northam second-up before being held up at crucial stages in the straight when fifth of 12 at Belmont most recently.

Despite those setbacks, the three-year-old was again thereabouts in a race he should have gone close in.

The rise to 1300m suits, and with a fitness edge over several key rivals, Call Me Invincible looks well placed here.
