Best Bet:
Race 6 No. 6 Horizons
While she's drawn out once again, the bigger surrounds of Kembla Grange should suit this filly, who was a beaten fav when resuming over 1350m at Wyong on February 13.
A progressive three-year-old who looks to be on an Australian Oaks path, Horizons was a drifting fav ahead of her recent resumption, where she settled at the rear of the field.
She was never able to balance up on a tight-turning Wyong circuit and while the winner had a better turn-of-foot late off a soft run, Horizons had no other rival to take her into the race.
The Autumn Sun filly was spelled after a Kembla Grange breakthrough in October and along with stripping fitter from the fresh performance, the rise in trip is another positive here.
Value Bet:
Race 7 No. 5 Aunty Rene
With no prior first-up wins to her name, Aunty Rene is an each-way quote for Tuesday's return assignment and it's worth noting that she was luckless at Kembla Grange via her last fresh tilt.
Also, the O'Shea & Charlton stable have been getting their horses to produce early, with three of their last four winners coming first-up and they've mostly been middle-distance types.
While they weren't first-up winners, Patissier and Polymnia also performed well for this yard via their respective fresh events last week, and that pair will both furnish over 1600m+.
Aunty Rene moved nicely in a quiet trial on January 28 before catching the eye for second behind Makarena (Group 2 winner) via her latest 1050m workout on February 13.
Market Mover:
Race 5 No. 5 Audenzia
This Kembla Grange local has completed three starts over two campaigns and she was narrowly defeated on her home track first-up last campaign.
Audenzia goes straight to 1500m off two lead-up trials and Neds punters have backed her early ($14-$9.50).
Stats Say:
Keagan Latham is the leading jockey at Kembla Grange this season, with 17 winners on this circuit at a respectable strike-rate of 21.25%.
He has four engagements on Tuesday's program and double figure quotes are available for three of those rides.
