Jannik Sinner vs Gabriel Diallo Tips, Prediction & Live Stream - Sinner to cruise into R16

Sinner is aiming to become the first man since Roger Federer in 2014-15 to defend the Cincinnati Masters title and you'd be a brave man to bet against him. The Italian has won 37 of his last 38 matches on hardcourt dating back to the end of last year and is coming off his quickest win of the year in his previous round, obliterating Daniel Galan 6-1 6-1 in just 59 minutes. Diallo meanwhile is enjoying his career-best and breakout season on tour in 2025, but this is obviously the toughest test in tennis right now and he'll do well to make it competitive. Another routine straight sets win for Sinner is on the cards.

This will be the first career meeting between the pair.

Sinner has gone 26-3 throughout the course of the season, which of course featured that suspension from February to May.

The World No. 1 successfully defended his Australian Open title, but suffered some heartbreaking defeats to Carlos Alcaraz in the Rome and Roland Garros finals.

However, Sinner responded brilliantly, avenging those defeats by taking out Alcaraz to win his maiden Wimbledon title.

Sinner opted to skip the Canada Masters last week and returned to action earlier this week in Cincinnati, where he raced past Galan 6-1 6-1 for his 22nd match win on hardcourt in a row.

Diallo has registered a 23-16 record on the season, reaching a career-high ranking of No. 35 coming into this tournament.

The 23-year-old won his maiden ATP title on the grass of s-Hertogenbosch and was also a quarter-finalist at the Madrid Masters, where his booming serve worked well in the altitude.

It's taken some top 10 players to stop him so far this summer, with Diallo reaching the R16 in Washington (lost to Ben Shelton) and the R32 in Toronto (lost to Taylor Fritz).

Diallo now gets another crack at a top 10 player (the No. 1 in fact) after beating Sebastian Baez 7-5 6-4 in his Cincinnati opener.
