The track is rated a Good 3, with the rail in the true position, and although some rain is forecast overnight, conditions should be mostly fine for race day.

Quirindi Roughie - Race 2 No. 7 My Sweetheart
A marked second-up improvement saw My Sweetheart finish runner-up over 1007m at Taree.
The mare was ridden with restraint and kept on well to be beaten just over four-and-a-half lengths after finishing last in a stronger 900m event at Newcastle first-up.
That latest effort came on a Heavy surface, although the quicker conditions should pose no concern given she has placed twice on Good ground.
Damien Smith’s representative also recorded placings over further last preparation, making the rise to 1100m another positive.
Liberty Smyth retains the ride and claims two kilograms, giving My Sweetheart a chance of breaking through at a big price.

Quirindi Next Best Bet - Race 3 No. 12 Think I’m Irish
Think I’m Irish has continued to perform consistently on wet tracks, most recently finishing second in a seven-runner event at Dubbo.
Racing over 2200m, she settled towards the rear and stayed on strongly in a race where the winner, fourth and fifth all scored at their next starts.
Beaten just under three lengths, the mare produced the best effort of those ridden conservatively in a contest dominated by the leader.
She raced keenly in the small field that day, and a stronger tempo over this shorter distance should help her settle more comfortably.
Both career victories have come on Good ground, and Think I’m Irish rates as value returning to a sound surface for the first time since March.

Quirindi Best Bet - Race 5 No. 4 Ordinary Angel
Consistent form since an unplaced debut has seen Ordinary Angel finish runner-up three times before breaking through at Gunnedah last month.
That maiden victory came over 1400m on his first appearance on Good ground, where he scored by just under half a length as favourite.
The Harry Angel gelding raced close to the speed after previously chasing home a subsequent metropolitan Class 3 winner at Tamworth.
Barrier two should allow him to secure another prominent position without spending unnecessary energy early.
Mikayla Weir recorded a 21 per cent strike rate at Quirindi last season, and Ordinary Angel looks capable of completing consecutive victories.

Quirindi Value Bet - Race 6 No. 8 Savoca
Previous success over this course and distance gives Savoca solid claims on his return to Quirindi.
The six-year-old has won three races since breaking his maiden here in November 2023 and has performed with credit in two starts at Wyong this preparation.
His latest appearance produced a fifth over 1200m on a Soft 7, where he finished just under three lengths from the winner.
A return to Good ground should pose no issue, while barrier four gives him the opportunity to settle closer than he has in recent starts.
Although several rivals bring stronger recent form, Savoca has enough in his favour to represent value on his first appearance here since that maiden success.
