Pinjarra Park hosts Thursday's meeting in the west, with a competitive card featuring a mix of improving maidens and progressive winter gallopers.
Several runners look well placed dropping in grade or rising to more suitable distances, while race fitness could prove decisive across the program.

Pinjarra Value Bets - Race 4 No. 8 Damage Control & No. 12 Field Mistress
There was little to get excited about from Damage Control's first preparation earlier this year, where he was beaten at big odds in both starts.
The five-year-old looks to have improved considerably, with a strong June 22 Belmont trial followed by an unlucky first-up effort over 1200m on July 1.
After being a little slow away, the gelding was held up at key stages in the straight before finding the line well once clear without threatening.
The rise to 1400m looks ideal second-up for the son of Universal Ruler, and generous odds are available again.
Another improving type at each-way odds is Field Mistress, who may be looking for a little further than seven furlongs, although both winter performances suggest a breakthrough is close.
Hahn 3.5 Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Pinjarra Best Bet - Race 6 No. 10 Superb Vintage
It's surprising Superb Vintage isn't favourite, with the three-year-old on the second line of betting despite dropping in grade after two encouraging Belmont performances this campaign.
She should have finished closer in the eye-catching June 17 resumption before backing that up with a competitive fifth at her latest appearance.
The filly hit her straps last campaign with back-to-back York victories, the first over King Brew, who later won twice, while a subsequent Ascot winner emerged from her second success.
Although comfortably beaten into second when heavily backed in search of a hat-trick, the winner, Scream, was then competitive twice in Saturday metropolitan company.
Superb Vintage will need some luck from a wide draw, but she looks to have found the right race and there should be further improvement to come third-up.

Pinjarra Next Best Bet - Race 8 No. 7 Berry Blast
The overall form around Berry Blast isn't outstanding, although she's still working towards her second career victory.
She backs up from a narrow defeat at Northam last Thursday, where the winner enjoyed a soft run in transit carrying 5.5kg less.
That followed a runner-up finish when resuming at Pinjarra on June 24, and she has already shown she can perform on short back-ups, having won third-up at Northam in November after an eight-day turnaround.
That campaign concluded with a Group 3 assignment, and the extra 100m poses no concern on Thursday.
Her main threats are Leetron, who remains in Class 3 grade off a last-start victory, while Reubens' Calling is capable if he can rediscover his first preparation form, although his May return was poor and both winter trials were a touch plain.
